Prof. Lach has received the Herman and Hazel Wagner Award, which is given to the finance faculty member who has the best publication in the highest ranking journal during the academic year.

Patrick Lach has received the Balanced Contribution Award from the School of Business at Eastern Illinois University. The Balanced Contribution Award is given to recognize excellence through a balanced contribution in teaching / performance of primary duties, research, and service. This is the highest award given by the School of Business at Eastern Illinois University.

Patrick Lach’s paper, “Tradeoffs between Internal and External Governance: Evidence from Exogenous Regulatory Shocks” has been published in Financial Management. Dr. Lach’s co-authors for this study were H. Shawn Mobbs (University of Alabama) and Lixiong Guo (University of New South Wales). The article can be found here.

Patrick’s paper, “Tradeoffs between Internal and External Governance: Evidence from Exogenous Regulatory Shocks” has been accepted for publication in Financial Management. This is Dr. Lach’s fourth peer-reviewed journal publication.
